Our USB foot pedals can be programmed by the user to simulate up to three simultaneous keystrokes. Programming is done by setting small switches inside the footswitch having removed the cover. Key combinations for programming can be found in our installation guides.

Image capture is a common application for our USB foot pedals; this involves using a foot pedal to take an x-ray or photo. Using a foot pedal for image capture gives the professional full use of their hands during this process. The section of the body being diagnosed can be manipulated with the hands and moved/held in place whilst the foot is used to capture the image.

Another common application is press to talk. USB footswitches are used within call centres or police control rooms. The foot pedal is connected to the phone so that the user can answer calls hands free giving them the ability to multitask.

Transcriptionists can stop and start dictations with only slight movements of the heel, and without lifting the foot unnecessarily, which both increases efficiency and makes the device a pleasure to work with.

The foot pedal is easy to deploy and configure using the Philips SpeechExec remote device management software. It allows administrators to centrally manage, update, and maintain the configuration and settings of Philips dictation devices, saving valuable time and resources.

To further extend its control possibilities, you can connect up to 2 additional switches or pedals. The MIDI IN/OUT ports make it possible to seamlessly control external processors when iRig Stomp I/O is used as a stand-alone MIDI foot controller, without any device or computer connected to it.

The Neutrik 1/4" XLR combo jack accepts instruments and microphones including condenser mics with switchable 48V phantom power. The balanced stereo output connects to an external amp, mixer or PA, and a 1/4" stereo headphone output is available for silent monitoring. The input gain and volume output knobs are easily accessible on the front panel, each with its dedicated LED VU-Meter indicator, for the quick-and-easy setting of levels. iRig Stomp I/O now ships with TONEX SE Model the sound of any amp, cabinet, combo or pedal, and turn it into a plug-in to use on both Mac/PC or iPhone and iPad for the ultimate mobile experience. Explore ToneNET and play with thousands of the most sought-after amps right from your mobile device.

As a floor controller, iRig Stomp I/O features an onboard expression pedal and four foot switches, allowing you to seamlessly flip through your favorite presets for natural, hands-free performance. The two optional control inputs let you connect up to two additional external pedals/switches. To further extend your control possibilities, you can exploit its MIDI functionality to send MIDI control messages via its MIDI OUT to your external gear and processors, using iRig Stomp I/O as a MIDI interface or as a stand-alone controller (even without a device).

While using AmpliTube or VocaLive with iPhone, iPad, Mac, PC and PC tablets like Microsoft Surface, you can easily browse your tone presets, preset banks, control wah processors in real time using the integrated expression pedal, as well as quickly access useful functions like the Looper, the Tuner, and more.

iRig Stomp I/O can be used without a device as a stand-alone MIDI foot controller that can be integrated with regular hardware rigs and used to control outboard processors that accept MIDI patch change and continuous controls.

Hey. I'm a longtime user of Express Scribe with my Infinity USB 2.0 foot pedal. I'm trying to migrate from mac system 10.4 to 10.10 and I can't get Express Scribe to see that my foot pedal is plugged in. I have tried restarting several times. There doesn't seem to be any driver for mac, such as Pedalware, to use this Infinity foot pedal. All the drivers want to download .exe files, which are windows files.

Yes I read that. But if you look on Amazon under Infinity USB foot pedals, there are people who testify they are using Yosemite (most recent mac operating system) with infinity foot pedal and not paying for the pro version of ES. This is what threw me off track. This, added to the fact that I have been using ES for years with this foot pedal and never had to purchase ES before now.

I have another Mac transcription program that works with the same pedal whether directly connected or on a hub, so I'm pretty sure that for some reason the Express Scribe program is only scanning the top-level of USB devices, and if it doesn't see the pedal, it gives up.

Download the new InqScribe 2.5 release with a modernized UI, spellcheck, grammar, autocorrect, a faster media engine, and improved foot pedal support! (Free upgrade for current license users! Windows version coming soon!)

Look ma, no mouse! Control media playback with precision using custom media controls, including playback speed and timeline scrubbing. Your hands stay on the keyboard with custom shortcuts to trigger any media control. Use a USB foot pedal to control media playback while you transcribe. (Foot pedal is optional.) Customize foot pedal buttons to any of InqScribe's shortcuts. InqScribe supports most USB input devices. (Purchased separately)

NVivo for Mac has not had any specific testing done with foot-pedals and we cannot guarantee that it will work. However, if you can find a foot pedal that emulates keyboard presses that can be configured to let you choose what keyboard presses to send then it should work, but as I mentioned previously we cannot say for sure and it is not supported.

I'm using NVivo for Mac (10.2.2), an Infinity foot-pedal and a software called USB Overdrive. It works fine for me and might be a solution to try. Today I also found a guide on the topic which proposes the same solution:

I use that Infinity pedal with InqScribe, which it is for free. It works really nice. I recommend use it with the option of skipping 1 second. This command will back up that 1 second before resuming play.

Connect up to 4 of our NP-1 universal foot switches to PACER for even more switching power. Also switches are fully programmable: So you can do anything from switching Presets, to changing control steps or more.
