Superseding the short-lived Taglish dub of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z in 1997/1998 was the Tagalog dub in 1999, soon to fully replace the Taglish and previous English dub by the Creative Products Corporation. The Tagalog dub was dubbed by Picasso,[1] and was broadcasted on GMA 7 and started with episode 100 of Dragon Ball Z, as the previous Taglish dub had left off at episode 99. The dub would last all the way until the very end of the series at episode 291, ending in 2001. This is when Dragon Ball in the Philippines would make a complete departure from the previously well-established Creative Products English cast.
